Our History
GC Chartered Accountants and Auditors (GCCA&A) provides professional services particularly in the fields of audit, financial advisory, financial accounting and reporting, and tax consultancy. Previously practicing as a sole trader as G Cheater CA(Z) RPAud, in July 2021, we were registered with the Public Accountants & Auditors Board (PAAB) as a practicing firm as GC Chartered Accountants & Auditors (PAAB registration number Z10/100).
By keeping our core team small, we are able to keep good communication with clients and tight control over assignments in terms of quality and timing, and so to provide focused client service at appropriate fees.

Graham Cheater
Practiced as a sole practitioner for about 10 years having originally qualified with Deloitte in Harare and subsequently been employed by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Harare as Associate Director, Technical and Education; member Examinations Board, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ).
Our Staff
In addition, the practice now employs 5 full time staff at various levels of training: 1 in the final stage and 1 at intermediate stage of qualifying as a chartered accountant, 2 in the 'professional' stage of qualifying as ACCA, and 1 in early stages of training.
Business Partners
We have a long-standing working relationship with the Chartered Accountants Academy (CAA) who are the main service providers to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ). Whenever we require contract staff on assignments, we are able to draw on CAA students to complete our assignment teams; the students then gain experience to complement their studies.
